Reach people who started your campaign bot and channels that connected it.

Open Messaging › Telegram. Telegram reaches people who chose to start your campaign bot, and channels whose administrators connected it.

Getting a bot#

The Sauti team activates a bot and assigns it to your campaign. The page shows Connected bots with a link to open each one.

How people join#

  • People open the bot and send /start. That is their consent to receive messages.
  • Channel administrators add the bot to their channel and post /connect.
  • STOP, ACHA and SITAKI withdraw consent immediately.

Chat identifiers are encrypted and masked, like phone numbers.

Templates and sending#

Create Telegram templates with English and optional Kiswahili text, using safe merge fields only. The sender footer and STOP instruction are added automatically. Then choose the Telegram channel in the composer.
