Recorded or text-to-speech broadcasts, and the missed-call callback inbox.

Voice broadcasts#

  1. Create a voice script: a name and a delivery mode.
    • Text to speech: type the spoken text.
    • Uploaded recording: an MP3 or WAV file, up to 5 MB and 180 seconds, plus a transcript. Recordings are encrypted with your organisation's key.
  2. Choose the voice channel in the composer and pick your script.
  3. The broadcast goes through the normal approval, quiet-hours, suppression and wallet controls. You pay only for answered minutes.

Keep broadcasts short: say who is calling in the first five seconds, give one clear message and say how to opt out.

Missed-call inbox#

When someone calls your campaign's voice number and it is not answered, or it is outside the hours you set, the call becomes a missed-call thread in the Inbox with a masked caller and time. You can set an optional short spoken reply.

Staff call back through the call bridge, so neither side sees the other's number. Record the outcome and, if needed, schedule a reminder. People who opted out of voice are never called back.
